The centerline butterfly valve positions the disc on the centerline of the valve body, creating a simple and reliable geometry for on-off and throttling service. When paired with a double-acting or spring-return pneumatic actuator and an electro-pneumatic positioner, it becomes an economical yet capable control valve for flow, pressure, and level loops.
The soft-seated design (EPDM, NBR, PTFE, or Viton) provides bubble-tight shutoff and low operating torque. A standard ISO 5211 mounting pad simplifies actuator interchangeability, while the compact wafer or lug body minimizes face-to-face dimension and weight.
